There are many different ways to manage your todo list. I am currently having the most luck with a single sheet of paper placed in the center of my desk. I draw a line across the middle. The things above the the line are the things I must complete. The things below are the other items I think of during the day. I write big so I can only fit a finite number of items on the page. For right now this is working very well.

Just goes to show you that you do not need any fancy gizmos to get the job done.

Hooray! Another lover of pen and paper. I’ve been bashing my paper gong for a while now. The more the merrier: http://putthingsoff.com/writing-things-down/

There are definitely some things that electronics work better for. If you are trying to manage a huge to do list of hundreds of items, a program might be better. But if you are trying to record 3 or 4 things to do each day a sheet of paper works fine. Mine usually ends up covered with notes and diagrams as I work.
Right now I’m looking for a way to capture this info so it is easy to refer to in the future.

For those of us with focusing, distraction and/or anxiety issues, too many lists on too many pages is paralyzing, and for me electronic systems are intimidating.
I’m delighted to see a tech-savvy type turning to a simple. short list written on paper – thank you for this!
